I feel like great shampoo is one of those things that’s hard to come around when you’re looking for natural, cruelty-free beauty products. Most of them either don’t lather enough or don’t clean properly. My stubborn dry, wild, thick hair makes it particularly hard to please: most shampoo’s end up leaving some kind of sticky residue or dry my hair out completely.
Lucky for me about a year ago I found my holy grail shampoo from Faith in Nature which raised the bar for all new products that I try.
So the Rose & Honeysuckle Clarifying Shampoo by Petal Fresh had quite a competitor to run against. And in my book it passed the bar: nice smell, cleans the hair properly and the shampoo lathers like nobody’s business! I love that Petal Fresh donates a part of their profits to charity. It’s size (475ml/ 16oz) makes this product great value for money.
While having my serious investigative journalism session for this post I found out that the name of this clarifying shampoo will change it’s name into ‘softening shampoo’. So don’t get confused. 😉
When I ordered this shampoo a while ago it had to be shipped all the way from the US. So naturally I was pleased to hear that Petal Fresh is now available in my local natural beauty store.
