Being the rebellious beauty blogger that I am, I felt like experimenting a little. So instead of picking a black mascara I chose a brown one instead: the Stellar Gaze mascara by Pacifica in the colour Stardust.
When I wasn’t vegan yet I loved me some fatty kebab, especially on those lazy Sundays after a night out 😉 So I made my own vegan version and OMG this baby is delicious! You don’t have to sacrifice anything as a plant eater: just play around with recipes and find healthy, cruelty free replacements for your former treats.
There’s a new Asian trend on the horizon in the European beauty market: the Konjac Sponge!
What’s the big deal about a sponge you might ask? It’s a step-up from using a washcloth to gently exfoliate and cleanse your face, as the 100% natural fibres are packed with minerals and antioxidants and in addition you need much less cleanser, if any at all. Apparently, these sponges can also help even skin and keep blemishes at bay.
If you guys are anything like me, all you want is to find a simple, versatile face wash and day cream that would become staple products in your daily skin care routine. The ‘chicken soup’ of skincareproducts – no matter how many different products you’d try out, you’d know you could always revert back to these to give you the essential everyday care.
I was on the hunt for a nice mineral concealer (to match the mineral foundation I am currently using), found this little number by Lily Lolo and: …bought the wrong one. Instead of getting the greenish looking one, especially designed to address redness and spots, I bought the shade Nude. This one is for your undereye area. Nevertheless, even though I didn’t particularly need it, I fell in love with this product. It covers my blue undereye circles perfectly as well as any redness I may have around the nose. If you apply a tiny bit of product on an eye shadow or small concealer brush it gives you a natural looking medium coverage. You can build it up to high coverage easily.
It doesn’t get much easier AND tastier than this: potato wedges out of the oven. With the (vegan) BBQ season officially being opened, potato wedges come in handy as a side dish. I also like to eat them with a guacamole dip and a salad. They are super tasty, easy to prepare, comforting and filling.
This product has been raved about in the YouTube world. That’s how I stumbled across it actually. Out of laziness I was using dry shampoo since some time already. As my hair is more on the dry side it doesn’t get greasy easily. But when I miss this ‘fresh hair’ feeling and some texture and volume, a couple of sprays of dry shampoo can do wonders.
Some beautiful stranger walks by and winks at you as your eyes meet across the bustling street…You feel your cheeks turning red, a soft blush spreading throughout your face..Alas! There must be other natural ways to get your cheek a nice natural rose color that doesn’t involve beautiful strangers (how can we rely on seeing those on an hourly basis?). Here’s where MaidenFern by LivingLibations arrives!
